Around Cotswold Cottages

Set in the heart of some of the UK’s most picturesque and unspoilt countryside, Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, and our cottages are located right next to the clear, glimmering water and delicate low bridges of the River Windrush.

Nearby amenities

Cotswold Cottages are in a picture-perfect village setting, but just across the road you’ll find a convenience store, chemist, post office and tourist centre. There’s also a large supermarket ten minutes’ walk away – that’s two minutes by car – and you’ll also find bus stops for Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh within a minute’s walk. During the day and evening there are plenty of places to eat and drink or get a takeaway, all within easy walking distance.

Our pick of the best local attractions

As well as its wealth of tearooms, shops, pubs and restaurants, Bourton also plays host to a large number of visitor attractions, including Cotswold Motoring Museum, which is owned by Boundless. As a guest staying at Cotswold Cottages, you’ll be able to get into the museum free of charge – it’s a great activity for all the family. You’ll also receive a voucher pack on  arrival which will give you discounts with some of the best local attractions and shops.
